Frequently Asked Questions

1. What are the requirements for renting a vehicle?
The driver must have a valid Class 3 Singapore driver's license with minimum 2 years driving experience. Minimum age is 22 years old and maximum 65 years old. Drivers failing to meet the requirements will be subjected to additional charges.

2. What does the rental rate include?
Rental rates includes insurance, maintenance and unlimited mileage. Late return charges are fixed at $20 per hour. All rates are subject to changes without prior notice.

3. What does the rental insurance cover?
All our vehicles are insured to cover third-party liabilities and property damages.

4. What are your payment modes?
All rates quoted are in Singapore currency. We accept Cash, Nets, Credit Card and Paynow.
Cheque payment are only applicable to leasing customers.


5. Can i reserve a vehicle on a specific date?
A booking deposit is required for all advance booking or reservations and failure to show up on collection day will result in forfeiture of the booking deposit. Booking deposit will be forfeited for cancellations made less than 48 hrs before date of collection. Reservations can be made up to 30 days in advance.

6. What are the Terms & Conditions of rental?
Our full Terms & Conditions can be found on the rental agreement which will be made available to you during collection.

7. Will there be any charges if I want the vehicle to be delivered to me?
Vehicle delivery will be charged at $30 per trip during our office hours (10am - 4pm) and $50 after our office hours.

8. What happens in the event of a vehicle breakdown?
Any vehicle breakdowns or occurrence of vehicle warning lights should be reported to Rhino Rental immediately. Our recovery team would proceed to provide roadside assistance or send a replacement vehicle (subjected to availability) if necessary. However, please take note that the following does not constitute as a breakdown and any assistance provided will be chargeable to the hirer, together with the cost of replacing any parts.
- Punctured tires
- Loss of keys
- Keys locked in vehicle
- Flat batteries
- Empty fuel tank

9. What happens if my vehicle is involved in an accident?
In the event of an accident, the hirer should stay calm and inform Rhino Rental immediately. The hirer should not admit liability and should there be any bodily injuries, the hirer must notify the Police immediately and call an ambulance if necessary. Where there are no bodily injuries involved, the hirer is required to make an accident report at our authorized reporting centre with information such as the third party's contact and vehicle number.
